Kamagra is one of the best analogues of the original Viagra. This medication is used in cases where an erection is not sufficient. The active ingredient, Sildenafil Citrate, helps to relax smooth muscle tissue and increase blood flow to the penis. The drug does not have a direct relaxing effect, it only enhances the effect of chemical compounds, which are designed to provide and enhance potency. The remedy becomes active only with sexual stimulation. An erection occurs in a natural way.
The effect of these pills is based on the relaxation of smooth muscles and increased blood flow in the cavernous body. This effect is achieved due to the inhibition of the enzyme – phosphodiesterase type 5. In simple words, the drug dilates the blood vessels of the penis during sexual arousal. As a result, the blood flow in the penis increases, which causes a stable erection.
Sildenafil should be taken about an hour before having sexual contact. The tablet is swallowed whole, not chewed and washed down with water.
The effect can be observed already 40-50 minutes. The result is maintained for 4 hours. In some patients, an erection may occur after 1 or 2 hours. It is not recommended to combine the medication with alcohol and fatty food.
Do not take sildenafil more than 1 time per day.
Sildenafil stays in your system for 4-5 hours. A number of internal factors, including the state of the male reproductive system, may affect the drug’s working time. Each case is considered individually. Repeated studies have shown that the effect is directly dependent on the sensitivity of the body to the components of the drug. The duration of Kamagra is determined by the physique of the man, his weight category, the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract. According to patients, the duration of the medication is about 4 hours or more. Some men had a longer effect. So it all depends solely on the specific male body.
In rare cases, Kamagra can cause the following side effects:
- Sense organs, nervous system: headaches, dizziness, flushing of the face, change in color perception, increased sensitivity to light, a misting effect;
- Respiratory system: nasal congestion;
- Gastrointestinal: diarrhea, dyspepsia;
- Skin: rash.
Other side effects include respiratory tract infections, spinal pain, flu-like syndrome, arthralgia.
All of the above side effects have a mild and short-lasting effect.
An overdose of Sildenafil increases the risk and severity of adverse reactions.
The recommended dose of Kamagra is 50 mg. The maximum single dose is 100 mg. An experienced specialist will help determine the appropriate dose for your condition. If the prescribed dosage of medication does not allow to achieve the desired result, this issue should be discussed with your doctor. A healthy person is recommended to start with 50 mg. In case of severe erectile dysfunction, especially after 65 years of age, it is recommended to take 25 mg of medication.
According to research, a single dose of sildenafil up to 800 mg may increase the severity of side effects. Possible symptoms include visual impairment, headache, flushing, dyspepsia, dizziness, nasal congestion. Overdose treatment should be symptomatic.
Kamagra is contraindicated for use in the following cases:
- diseases of the cardiovascular system;
- allergy to medication ingredients;
- severe violations of the kidneys and liver;
- curvature of the penis;
